Software Development Is Not Just About Writing Code

The World Outside of My Window

To solve certain problems you have to think outside of the box. I use to hear this phrase a lot. I always had a hard time trying figure this one out. If I am in the box, how can I think outside of it?

I found it easier to think about it another way. Most problems you encounter have numerous solutions.   A given problem is like looking at an object outside of your window.  You are seeing an obscured and sometime partial image of the real thing.  Walking outside for a closer can give you a different perspective on what you are looking at.   A different outlook can aid in solving many brain stumpers. You should give it a try sometimes.

Most of these advantages are precisely the advantages that we would expect to find in a model that is relatively discrete. ,

Thanks for asking the question. I am a no stranger to Linux. Most distros should allow you to switch character sets and regions without restarting. I personally use Ubuntu. Maybe you should give that distro a try.
